Scott is the Vice President of Finance and Operations. Serving on the College’s Cabinet, Scott provides strategic leadership and direction for Finance, Facilities, Public Safety, and Financial Aid. Scott has lead numerous initiatives, including oversight of the completion of the Health and Science Alliance Center, development of Auxiliary Services Business Plans, and various initiatives that focus on risk mitigation and process optimization. Prior to coming to Saint Paul College, Scott served as the CFO at the City of Gulfport, MS. He has also served as the coordinator for grants and special projects (4 years) and CFO (2 years) at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Scott served in private industry for over 8 years as a senior audit manager with a focus on higher education, K-12, city, state, and local government and non-profits, and as a senior accountant while directly overseeing the operations for construction, landscape, advertising, aviation, cattle, and ambulance companies. Scott holds a B.A. in Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2005.
